    this is so sad, alexa play despacito

    Anyways, CC being shut down obviously sucks, but it definitely was something I have seen coming since early 2018. The server was getting less and less active, peaking in 2015-16 and parts of 2017. I missed from most of March to December because I couldn't play minecraft as my laptop broke and my old PC can't run it properly. The decline of Minecraft players and the decline of CC online active users definitely played a part in this, but when the server shut down for a bit in September, it was obvious that CreativeCraft was running out of time. I remember the thrill of getting on Minecraft and only come on CC. The community was so active that sometimes I didn't build, I just talked and talked in chat and built barely anything (probably why I type around 80+ WPM). It was sad to see many prominent people go, and watching history unfold was definitely sad but also i supported most of the changes that were made. A lot of this may have to do with nostalgia though, since I got on CC the day I got Minecraft, which was in September 2014. I was 8 at the time and through all of the cringy stuff I pulled off, getting banned, this server still remained fun. I made the decision to buy a $20 rank in late 2014 and I eventually upgraded to $30 in 2015. One thing I remember fondly was me being promoter in late 2015. I was very toxic then and got triggered easily, so you can see where that one went ;-;

    The community became more and more toxic and there were problems with staff members and corruption. The forums became full with ad bots for a while (Want Free Male Performance Enhancement ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)? Sign up today!) The server was becoming more and more buggy and more and more people quit. CreativeCraft was slowly declining, and many things and people that made this server different and memorable left or disappeared. Teams (TeamFNaF, the random Harry Potter team I made in 2015, etc..), Labs, Build Teams, Skin Competitions :confused:, Roleplays, and most of all, the community. This server didn't necessarily help me throughout a time in my life, but it made it fun and something special to me. I mean this server introduced me to anime I guess, but I was so stupid that I searched up anime episode 1, but we don't need to talk about that. No matter how toxic the community became, I would and will always have a spot in my heart for CreativeCraft.

    To conclude, this is Double_Charizard of CreativeCraft News Reborn, signing out for what seems to be the out of place finale of CreativeCraft News Reborn.

    Thank you for reselling my original thread title. Jokes aside,

    I agree with you. People that made up CreativeCraft have developed from people. I was a Moderator here when it reached a peak of 200. Now, I am staff on a discord server with a peak of 30,000+. You have benefited as a person too. If I never joined CreativeCraft, this would’ve never happened.

    I am thankful to GTA too, who ran this server since he was very young and kept it running for years. That shows dedication and perseverance. Teams helped respect and teambuilding. What you created, the Harry Potter team, is very creative and helped you as a person.

    CreativeCraft will always have a place in my memory. Those many people who played, moderated, built and be part of the community helped CC to thrive. There will never ever be a community like this again on any server.

    However, I’ll still be in the background of this forum...
